I had the chance to participate in a beautiful environmental project called Enviajarme. Josue (the founder) is a young man, passionate about nature and with an incredible vision to make this world a better place. I was amazed to watched how more than 100 people gathered together to walk in a beautiful mountain and clean all the way up to the top.

Istanbul! Beautiful emotional chaos. I was having lunch around the hostel when suddenly, I heard the most incredible sound in my life: a voice that repeated words in a different language, like a song. I was petrified listening and felt a desire to get up and follow the sound to see where it came from. It inundated the whole city, hypnotized my mind, lifted me from the seat and I closed my eyes until it stopped.

I came back to my tico paradise following my heart after spending a lot of months outside and literally going around the world. Returning was a strong learning process, just like traveling. Returning to what I considered my home challenged me, taught me that I have fears that I didn't know existed, that I have too many things to work on and improve

Traveling to Iceland was my dream for 4 years. I wanted to feel as one in those incredible landscapes, to see the northern lights shining in the sky, to be amazed by the power of nature because I knew that the climate there was totally unpredictable.

Huacachina is a small oasis in the middle of the desert: it has a lagoon surrounded by palm trees, eucalyptus, among others, food, small stores and lodging for those who want to spend the night in the middle of that paradise.

Moving away from home was the first step and it began at the end of February 2018. The fear of the unknown soon appeared. I think of all the memories and things I lived in the space that I called home for so many years and I feel a melancholic.
